ready to get your hands dirty?

Each spring and fall, dedicated volunteers conduct tree-planting projects in McLean parks and school grounds.  Throughout the year, we maintain the trees we planted to keep them healthy.  We need your help!

We recruit volunteers of all ages to help care for and plant trees. Keep reading for more information on how to get involved, and then fill out our Volunteer Interest Form below to get started.

what our volunteers do

Volunteers work independently or in a group. No experience is necessary! MTF provides volunteer opportunities in activities such as:

  • Tree maintenance and care: watering, weeding, pruning, edging and mulching

  • Invasive removal
